Locust Lake Archery Members and fellow Villagers,

As our Club enters its 10th year we can reflect proudly on our many accomplishments since starting in 2011. They include:

• the development and maintenance of a range that currently has 9 distinct shooting lanes
• the addition of several 3-D targets that add additional interest
• hosting of numerous Open Houses that have allowed hundreds of our Villagers to try or re-visit archery
• special events that have included experts in bow making, taxidermy, shooting, care of equipment and hunting
• hosting the qualifying for archers that utilize the Village’s DMAP program
• yearly Chalet Archery dinner dances that have been sold out events

So, these are just some of the accomplishments and some memories of these first 10 years.

Our pride is tempered by the current pandemic but as we come through it, we will take “aim again” at improving our Club and adding more fun events for our Members and Open Houses.

I look forward to once again hearing the calls “Range is Clear & Range is Hot!”
