Feather Friends Birding Club

Started on February 23rd, 2019, our club email list has grown nicely and is made up of both novice and expert birders who have interest in knowing more about the birds around us in the Poconos, like to photograph them, and just be better at identifying them. Members include hikers and over the years have met at various locations for bird walks. We sometimes do quizzes to encourage Members to do some reach to learn more about the hobby. Locust Lake Village has supported the purchase of a variety of bird and bat houses throughout the community, but Feathered Friends have installed and monitored the houses.
