Corona COVID-19 Virus Concerns
On Tuesday of this week the Federal government strongly suggested anyone traveling from New York to other areas to self-quarantine. Here at Locust Lake Village we are very concerned about our members and employees. We are requesting everyone traveling from New York, New Jersey & the Philadelphia area to self-quarantine for 14 days once you have arrived.
While taking walks in the outdoors we urge everyone to follow the social distancing of six feet to avoid the spread of COVID-19. We realize not everyone is a carrier of COVID-19 but just yesterday Governor Cuomo stated it is very possible that up to 50 percent of New York residents, workers or anyone who has been in New York could be a carrier.
We are immediately are closing ALL playgrounds in the village. Please understand the playground equipment is constructed of metal & plastic. The COVID-19 virus can survive on plastic & some metals up to 72 hours and be transferred to yourself or your child. Thank you for your cooperation regarding the safety and well being of everyone here in Locust Lake Village.
Stay Well, Stay healthy!
